My name is Jim Davis, I am the creator, owner/operator of Top Dog Hearth Repair & Maintenance, LLC, based out of Worcester MA. My beautiful wife who I have been with since the 1900s, is also a small business owner in Worcester, MA.

My love for hearth products and systems started in 2004 when I started as a contractor, and installer, for a busy hearth store in Worcester, MA.

After one season I joined the store full-time, becoming an expert on wood, gas, pellet, and masonry hearth heating systems through industry education. Not only did I learn about the products, but also how important it was to provide great service.

After twelve years of fieldwork, service managing, and production management experience, I shifted gears and took a sales position for a busy fireplace installing distributor. I worked with builders and developers. I was the project manager responsible for the planning and installation of every fireplace sold.

Seven years later I landed my dream job as a territory manager/outside sales rep for a large hearth product distributor in New England. This is where I realized how much I missed providing fun, knowledgeable, and above-and-beyond in-home service.

Driven by the want to help, educate, and impress, Top Dog was born.

Top Dog Hearth operates according to my core values, genuine, honest, hardworking, fun, and loyal. Oh....and MUST LOVE ANIMALS! (You'll notice that the love for dogs and animals is a theme here.)
